Volunteers Needed for Davis Park Playground Project

A new, specially designed playground will be constructed at Davis Park at the intersection of Chalkstone and Oakland Avenues in Providence, across the street from the Nathanael Greene Middle School.
The City of Providence, Elmhurst Clean & Green, and the Smith Hill CDC have joined forces with KaBOOM!, a nationally known builder of playgrounds. MetLife is the corporate sponsor, providing financial and volunteer support for the playground project.
Build Day is SATURDAY, JUNE 27th
Volunteers report to Davis Park and sign in at 8:00am
Ribbon-Cutting at 2:30pm
Events conclude at 4:00pm
- Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
- Food and water will be provided (breakfast and lunch).
- No experience necessary.
- T-shirts and tools will be provided.
