Who We Are…
Elmhurst Clean & Green is a non-partisan, non-denominational group of concerned citizen volunteers who care about Providence, its neighborhoods, and the environment.
What We Do…
We meet once a month at the Feinstein Academic Center of Providence College and coordinate plans for cleanups, plantings, and improvements. We perform one cleanup for planting per month, weather permitting, usually on Saturdays between the hours of 9:00 am and 12:00 noon.
What We Envision…
Our goal is clean, well-maintained, neighborly streets and public spaces that preserve the historic integrity of the city of Providence and inspire residents to feel a sense of belonging and responsibility for the well-being of their surroundings.
