There has been a lot happening!   Beginning with the Davis Park ‘revitalization’ project,  Bob McMahon, Superintendent of Parks,  provided us with some very good news last week.  Bob has secured funding for the new walking track,  removal of the existing minor league field and installation of a new field, new lighting at the existing little league field and a new [...]

Due to the rainy forecast, we are postponing our clean up and fence painting for tomorrow and have rescheduled for next Saturday, 10/31.  Tentative time is 11:00am-1:00pm.  More info to follow.
The trees from the PNPP will still be planted tomorrow unless there are high winds.  Volunteers are to meet at 315 River Ave. at 10:00 am and see [...]

Unfortunately the forecast is calling for rain on Saturday!  We will make a decision on Friday by 6pm as to whether we will have to call off our Neighborhood Improvement Day projects.  Hopefully we won’t have to.  Please check here tomorrow for status.  Thank you.

We are moving forward with our plans for Neighborhood Improvement Day on 10/24 with the help of some great PC student volunteers. Johnson & Wales has expressed interest in working with us, if not on the 24th, sometime in the near future which is terrific.

We met today with representatives from the Environmental Club at Providence College who had expressed interest a few weeks ago in working with us on clean-ups.
