Then come to our next meeting or drop us a line at contact@elmhurstcleanandgreen.org for more details. Check back here or on our Facebook page for more updates!

Have you been to our Farmers’ Market at Fargnoli Park on Sundays 11am-2pm? If not, you’re missing out on freshly picked fruits and veggies from our RI farmers! Other goodies include all sorts of specialty sausages, baked goods, plants and flowers, vegan sweets, home-made granola, jams, pickles, relish…and more!

Each week at the Market we have activities for the kids. This Sunday 8/14, our member Jen will work with the children to make a mural. Stop by our ‘Kids Corner’ and join the fun!

So we hope to see you tomorrow at the Market – Fargnoli Park, Smith St. between Academy and River Aves., Sundays from 11am-2pm through October 30.

Yes indeed…all thanks to our hard working and dedicated volunteers. Thank you all!

Another improvement you may have noticed is that the folks at the Capital Ridge Center and the RWMC have taken greater responsibility in keeping their sidewalks free of trash, leaves and debris. We thank them for their cooperation!

What else can be done? Would you like to volunteer? Let us know: contact@elmhurstcleanandgreen.org. Would love to hear from you!

Next Saturday, April 24 we are holding our annual Earth Day event in conjunction with PC’s Service Day. We are very pleased that along with PC students we will be joined by a group of JWU students. All volunteers are welcome – come for as long as you can – even an hour will help!

9:00 am - Meet at Davis Park. Coffee and snack provided.
9:15 am – Register, get assignment and t-shirt (first 125 volunteers).
10: 00 am – With ‘group leaders’, depart to project location
12:00 noon – Finish up. Lunch will be provided at Davis Park.

Our projects include painting the concession stand, bleachers and benches, and cleaning up Davis Park and cleaning certain areas of Elmhurst and Smith Hill. Unfortunately we cannot complete the tasks that we had scheduled for Fargnoli Park as it is opening day for baseball, but hope to do so in the near future.

Come join in the fun and community spirit and help make our neighborhoods a better place to live and work! If you have any questions, feel free to ‘Contact Us’ through our web site. See you at the Park!
