Our clean-up event on October 2nd went really well and what a great group we had! In addition to cleaning many of the area streets we also planted a garden in front of Nathanael Greene School and weeded many of the tree wells on Smith St. We had over 60 people participating! On Saturday, October 16th, thanks to Providence Neighborhood Planting Program 35 street trees were planted in Elmhurst. Information and application about this organization are available at pnpp.org. A picture from the planting is below.
