		<title>Last week to go GREEN!</title>

Next week is the last week of the season that the City will be picking up yard debris waste.  Our final pickup (Elmhurst) is next Tuesday 12/8/09&#8230;final date city-wide is Friday 12/11.  After that, all leaves and debris must go in a bag within the big green containers as trash.

According to Councilman Solomon, early reports list the 5th Ward with the highest percentage of recycling, just over 40%.  Great job everyone!
The chart below, which lists the official statistics from the City as of today, demonstrates the increase in the amount recycled city-wide since the program began.
