Bob McMahon/Parks Dept. have started construction of the new walking path and ballfield at Davis Park. Coming soon, solar lighting and black iron fence along Chalkstone.

Due to the rainy forecast, we are postponing our clean up and fence painting for tomorrow and have rescheduled for next Saturday, 10/31. Tentative time is 11:00am-1:00pm. More info to follow.

Valentina from River Ave. is coordinating the Elmhurst tree plantings on October 24th and is looking for volunteers. They will begin at 10 AM at the demonstration site, 315 River Avenue. Valentina can be reached at 359-4836.

There will be a tree planting celebration in honor of Tom Twitchell in Smith Hill this weekend. Folks are meeting on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. starting at 60 Zone Street.
